In 2018 The Vignoles Press was created to publish the titles in-house' and slowly all titles will migrate across to The Vignoles Press with new cover artwork.

BREAKING NEWS: In October 2023, Stephen Done and the Inspector Vignoles Mysteries joined forces with Samantha Brace of the PFD Agency in London to take the series to the next level. The existing editions will continue to be available here until sold out as we move forwards with plans to place to books with a bigger publisher, create Ebooks, Audio books and (hopefully) bring Vignoles to the TV...

The books are written by Stephen Done and all photographs and paintings used on the covers are also my own, skilfully made into beautiful artworks by my good friend Bill Citrine, who designs all the books.

All titles are stocked by many of the wonderful heritage railways in the UK, notably the Great Central Railway and the Glous & Warks Steam Railway. Buying from them helps support their work.

I am also an artist and recently returned to painting in oils and acrylics and starting to feature these on the book covers. This site offers you the chance to view and potentially purchase unique, one-off paintings at affordable prices.
